On the hottest day ever in LA (115 degrees hot to be exact) the startling sound of fire crackers started coming from next door. I peered outside to see a transformer exploding every which way, needless to say the power went out... for many hours into the darkness. Supposedly a squirrel got in there and caused it. As sad as that thought makes me, it really was such an opulent and glorious way out for the little fellow. Anyways the rest of the night was filled with unbearable stale heat & darkness, pictured below....
Then the next day it rained and there was a rainbow...very curious weather.
I love the beginning of summer. You can leave your widows open all day making everything just feel so clean light and calm. Wind chimes seem to sing perfectly in early summer weather and crystals make the best rainbows on the wall. I feel like thousand pound weights are taken off my shoulders the first time I take that first summer breath that makes me relax and enjoy just being.
