I'm REALLY digging this video! I love the concept in it's simplicity. The visuals are great! The music is pretty simple, but I like the sound they're going for. NIN had always been about progressing to harder and harder music, in terms of more intricate sounds etc.. I think Trent was constantly trying to keep up and ahead of the last album. Keep up with the bar he's raised for himself.I can see how exhausting that must have been.
How to Destroy Angels allows him to strip things down and get going in a different less complex direction. It also allows him to fade into the background of the group. Center stage goes to Mariqueen, and from what we've seen so far she's doing a great job at the helm!
I really enjoy your blog, and your jewelry/purses are so lovely. I noticed you are based in L.A. (as am I)...are there stores in the area that carry your stuff?
thanks so much! Duet in Laguna Beach carries my purses. I have yet to have a store in LA carry my line. Hopefully someday soon! ;)
I will be selling at the Contemporary Crafts market June 11-13 in Santa Monica. There is always sooo much cool stuff there. It's worth checking out. http://www.contemporarycraftsmarket.com/
Wow... what a cool vid! I especially loved how it was build up with small extra-close-ups which made your mind try to picture together a storyline that would explane these small pictures. Very well done indeed!

Awesome video! I love the part where she catches on fire and her hair burns off in a clump! The blood is great too!
