Trees Without Leaves


Maybe it is because I live in California and we don't get seasons and also because of my current glum mood. But, while here in Boston I find myself staring out the window while commuting back and forth between my aunt's and grandfather's houses daily. I end up getting lost in the patterns the trees without leaves create against their backdrops of sunsets and ice that mother nature has created so casually. They are beautiful and loose, like ink drawings I only wish I could memorize and create one day. Worn out, creepy, decrepit and captivating.....
